Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

JoTo Games (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a game studio based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This page explains how we handle information across the games we publish, play.joto.games, and this website — including the applied-games contact form.

Some individual titles publish their own privacy policy. Where a title has its own policy, that policy takes precedence for that title.

2. The short version

We do not require accounts to play. We do not sell personal data. We only receive a name, work email, organisation and message if you send them yourself. Browsing joto.games sets no tracking cookies.

3. This website

Browsing joto.games sets no advertising trackers. If you use the contact form, you send us your name, work email, organisation, a description of the challenge, desired timing, and optionally a budget range. We use that only to answer you and to carry on the conversation it starts. Sending the form does not create a commitment. It reaches us by email and is kept no longer than that purpose needs. We do not add it to a mailing list.

The site is hosted in the European Union and keeps standard access logs.

4. Browser games on play.joto.games

Browser games need no account. Single-player games run in your browser. Party games hold a room code, a session token, a nickname and current game state in server memory while the room is open, then discard them. We do not write that to a database.

5. Mobile games

Some mobile titles are offline and collect nothing. Ad-supported titles may use Google AdMob or mediation partners and an advertising identifier, as described on that title’s store listing. Analytics, where used, is device-level and read in aggregate.

6. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK you may access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and you have the right to data portability. Email info@joto.games. We respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
